Give me MOORE!!!! Moore Boys that is ….

What a journey we had tonight during the Bossier Portrait Session with the Moore Boys.  It almosts feels like we recreated history and jumped back in time to the simpler days….  Thanks Peyton and Hudson! (and thanks JM and B for going along with all my wacky ideas :)

Shreveport Photography..Burning and Dodging

for me…
the joy to be able to capture something
just for me…
for no real purpose
except because I see the beauty in it….
This shot made me miss the smell of darkroom chemicals. I loved watching the effects of burning and dogding in the film lab. I was mesmerized watching things appear and disappear with more or less light….
 so this image… 
is just for me.
To remind me..that even though photography has changed
…it is still about captured light. 
And what you do with that light…. that is where the art begins.
