What a nice visit to see Sweet Carolyn Bickham and her two sweet babies….. Before I even start to say how wonderful her children are.. I want to comment on her. Carolyn and I went to highschool a bit together. I have nice, fond memories of the person she was then. Friendly, courteous, and just gorgeous as can be. Well Sweet Carolyn hasn’t changed one bit. What a lovely lady she is…and it extends to her amazing children. Her son Drew is the spitting image of his Dad, Andy. What a joy and a spark and a bundle of love for his mom and new sister. Drew and I had the best time coloring and showing off our silly faces. He reminds me so much of my own kids…and when he left- I was homesick for my Michael and my Mason……. Drew’s sister, Annie, was just a breath from heaven. Literally. When the babies come into the studio, all I can think about is how close to MY GOD they JUST were… She was just there…she was JUST there….and she was loved then, and loved now by Andy and Carolyn…. Annie, sweet girl, you are a blessed baby to have such an amazing family to fall into… amazing mom and dad, and loving brother. Welcome to our World sweetheart… we are ALL glad you are here….

The Bickhams….
February LOVE Session….
I have been thinking lately about how blessed I am in every category. I certainly don’t deserve anything that I have or love…but Jesus just covers me in his blessings and favor. I also have been thinking a lot about others and some of the struggles they go through each day. My prayer list seems to grow every day by several names and beside each of those names I write….cancer. What a yucky 6 letter word. It breaks my heart to think about all that comes with that word. So I want to do something. I can’t change it, I can cure it..but I can PRAY for it and I can utilize the God given talents I have to do SOMETHING. So here is my something… I challenge you to listen hard to your heart and do SOMETHING too…. February just seems like the perfect month!
February LOVE Sessions…
Half of all session fees in February will be donated to Susan G. Komen Research Foundation OR St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital. You can pick where I send the donation and I believe we can send it in honor of someone. Please spread the word….. both of these charities do amazing things for people each day. I am so thankful I haven’t personally had to experience them, but we all know someone who has… and NONE of us know our tomorrow….

WOW! What an amazing start to the new year. 2009 will be incredible! Kids are back in school and schedules are back in action. Check the blog again for more frequent updates and specials. I have so many new ideas and things to tell you… I can’t decide where to start!
